Well guys, the world series finished up and oh boy was it a good one! It finished in 7 dramatic games and although not necessarily down to the wire it was one for the ages.

We start with Houston's acquisition of Justin Verlander and oh my was it a good one. He threw game 6 and was nearly untouchable in the playoffs, playing amazingly and contributing greatly towards Houston's success.

This is Justin, he is good at baseball

Next comes the likes of Jose Altuve and the greatness he brought to the series. All 5'6 of Jose contributed slugging multiple homers and driving in crucial runs helping Houston break the longest World Series drought in Major League Baseball.

This is Jose, he is good at baseball too

It must have been fate that these two would come together. The likes of a 5'6 guy and another 6'5 guy contributing to help the same team win a championship is almost exclusive to baseball (the best sport in my opinion hehehe).

All in all who cares who you are and how tall you are so long as you get to do this....

Okay uh, maybe it's the wrong sport but you get the idea right? Nothing matters so long as these guys can come together to lift the World Series trophy. Especially since it's like 10x the size of this puny trophy.

That's it for baseball this year, enjoy the hiatus from This Week In Baseball we'll be back before you know it ;)
